Video captures shots fired Saturday morning in Uptown Minneapolis

Shocking surveillance video submitted to Crime Watch shows a suspect firing shots into the air on The Mall in Uptown Minneapolis just after 6 a.m. on Saturday morning June 17, 2023.
Police were contacted and responded to the scene and found discharged casings on The Mall close to Hennepin Avenue.
Police searched the area for the suspect, but he wasn’t located at the time.
We will continue to follow any developments and will update if we learn of an arrest.
