DeLaSalle football field damaged by a vehicle

By Crime Watch MN, Oct. 30, 2022

Overnight vandalism Saturday to Sunday left the football field at DeLaSalle High School on Nicollet Island in Minneapolis in shambles.

Police came upon the mess Sunday morning and reported to the dispatcher that it appeared someone had been doing donuts in the field with a vehicle.

Photos submitted to Crime Watch showed some of the damage.

It’s unknown whether the school has cameras that may have captured the incident, and no one from the high school was immediately available to comment on the extent of the damage and what it may take to make repairs.
