Developing situation in Blaine, MN, evacuations in progress for possible explosive device on a bus

A situation is developing in Blaine, Minn., this morning with a potential explosive device discovered on a school bus in the parking lot of a student transportation facility.

The situation developed just before noon on the 1800 block of Radisson Road. Details are few at this time, but several buildings in the area are being evacuated, roads are being blocked, and the Minneapolis bomb division has been requested.

There are apparently no students on the bus, but officers aired that there were several backpacks on the bus.

There has been no official release of information yet.
