Bullet enters Minneapolis home inches from sleeping child
By Crime Watch MN, July 20, 2022
A follower messaged with a photo of their home’s window apparently damaged by a bullet overnight, and they said the bullet entered a wall just inches from their sleeping 4-year-old child.
Police dispatch audio confirms that there was a report of twelve shots heard on the 500 block of Bryant Avenue North just before 3 a.m. Wednesday. It wasn’t immediately clear if police were dispatched to the area. A squad was not immediately assigned by the dispatcher.
The resident said:
“Shoot out at 3am on 5th and Bryant…
My bedroom window was shot out. Over 16 shells on Bryant.. plus 1 in my wall. Inches from my sleeping 4-year-old.
No regard for life.”
There were no other immediate reports of injuries related to the incident.
